Today's Devotional Scriptures: 1 Peter 2:9
Once you know your identity, your mission in life becomes pretty clear. So here’s the truth: Your identity is found in Jesus Christ, a personal relationship with Him. You don’t have to look further than Jesus to figure out why you were put here. God ultimately wants to use you to tell the news of Jesus.
Knowing who you are in Christ allows you to have the confidence and boldness you need to go out and tell people about Jesus and what He’s done in your life. Because of God’s great grace and mercy, we can not only see the miracles Jesus does but we get to be a part of them!
You have been chosen by God who has given everything to show you that you are worth dying for, which Jesus ultimately did. Now let Jesus guide you and go tell the world about what Jesus is doing in and through you.
“But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light.” -- 1 Peter 2:9
